    Ordering Options & Confirmations

    Purchases can be made through our online shopping cart or by phone, mail, fax or email (see contact information above).

    Order Online

    Sales may be done online at www.shop.jmteno.us with PayPal through our secure shopping cart. Please visit our catalog to make your selections.

    Order by Mail or Fax

    Use our online shopping cart to assemble your order. Choose the "order by mail or fax" option during checkout, then print the resulting order page to mail or fax to us. All orders must be accompanied by an institutional Purchase Order, institutional check to the order of Teno Jean Marie, money order or credit card number. Sorry, no personal checks are accepted. Please see the contact information above.

    Order Confirmations

    A confirmation will be sent immediately upon completion of your online transaction. An invoice will be sent to the billing contact within 2 weeks of receipt of the order.



    Institutional Sales (University, College, Institutions, Community groups, schools and Public librairies): Continental US

    Institutions are required to purchase at list price. Purchase effectively means lease for the life of the videotape, DVD or film print. Prices include public performance rights for classroom, organizational, or library use by the acquiring institution for non-paying audiences only under the following conditions:

    1. . "Purchase" constitutes lease for the life of the videotape or videodisc
    2. . The videotape and/or videodisc will not be altered or copied in any manner whatsoever. (The videotape and/or videodisc is protected under U.S. Copyright Code.)
    3. . The videotape and/or videodisc is to be used only for educational use by the Customer.
    4. . The videotape and or videodisc will not be shown to the public, theatrically, commercially, or for profit. Screenings will not be advertised to the public.
    5. . The videotape and/or videodisc will not be rented, loaned for a fee, leased, or sub-leased to others.
    6. . The videotape and/or videodisc will not be broadcast or televised.
    7. . The Customer will not negotiate any transaction concerning the videotape and/or videodisc without specific written authorization from Distributor.

    Any screenings that are open to the public or where admission is charged may result in additional rental fees. Please see instructions for Public Screenings. Sales are shipped to arrive within 2 to 3 weeks. Please specify date needed.

    Archival Copies

    Additional copies of the same title may be purchased for 50% of the list price if purchased at the same time directly from Transit Media (see contact information above). Offer not available online.

    PAL and Film Formats

    PAL DVD All Zones, are available for sale on some titles.


    Institutional Rentals: Continental US

    Rental orders must be placed at least 3 weeks before the show date or rush charges will apply. Rush orders cannot be made online. Please see contact information above.

    DVD Rentals

    Prices are for a three-day period within a classroom or organization for non-paying audiences only. Rental fees can be applied to the purchase price if purchase is made within 90 days of rental show date.

    16mm, 35mm and BetaSP Rentals

    Prices are for one screening only. Additional film screenings on the same day are priced at 50% of the listed rental price. Screenings on additional days are billed at the full rental price.

    Paid Admissions/Fundraisers

    If you wish to charge admission for your screening you must contact us at info@jmteno.us. For further information, please read the Public Exhibition section.

    Rental Cancellations

    All rental cancellations made prior to ship date are subject to a fee of $10.00 per title. If a cancellation is received after the ship date, customer is responsible for the full rental fee.


    Shipping & Handling Fees: Continental U.S.

    Orders are shipped to arrive 2 to 3 weeks from the time the order is received. For orders (unavailable online) needed sooner, a rush charge of $25 per order will apply. See below for details. The following fees cover standard shipping & handling within the continental United States:

    Videotape and DVD Sales Shipping

    • 1 title $15 each
    • 2-5 titles $10 each
    • 6-9 titles $8 each
    • 10 or more $5 each

    Videotape and DVD Rentals Shipping

    $15 per title

    For Alaska, Hawaii, Puerto Rico

    Orders cannot be made online (see above contact information).

    Videotape and DVD Sales and Rentals: Add $25 per shipment

    Film Sales and Rentals: Add $30 per shipment (or provide courier number)

    For Canada

    Orders can be placed online or through contacting Transit Media. An additional $25 per shipment fee is applied.

    Rush Orders

    Unavailable online. Please see contact information at the top of the page. A rush fee of $25 per order will apply to sales needed within 2 weeks from the receipt of order, and rentals with show dates less than 3 weeks from the receipt of order. Please include a "need by" date with all rush orders. Sorry, we are unable to accommodate orders that must ship the same day on which they are ordered. Please note that some older titles are not available on a rush basis. If the title you request is not available, you will receive an email within 24 hours.

    Return Shipping for Rentals

    Rented videotapes and DVDs must be returned the first business day after the 3-day rental period. Film prints must be returned the next business day after screening via UPS 2nd Day Air or FedEx Standard. A late return fee equal to 50% of the rental fee will be charged per day.

    Renters are responsible for return shipping costs and are liable for any damage to prints, videotapes or DVDs. Shipped items should be insured according to the values listed below.

    NOTE: Please do not return tapes in fiber-filled packages. The packages tend to rip open with the exposed fiber damaging the enclosed tapes.

    Institutional Sales: International


    Standard Shipping

    International orders must be pre-paid and placed by fax, mail or phone with our International Order Form. Once we receive the order we will check rights and availability, then generate an invoice from which to prepay. Orders will be shipped once payment is received. We will let you know within 5 business days of if the titles you requested are not available. If we do not get back to you, you may assume that your order is being filled. Most of our titles are available for sale to institutions outside the U.S. For Festival Screenings and other Public Exhibitions outside of North America, please inquire.

    • . Sorry we are unable to offer previews, educational rentals or discounted sales to overseas customers at this time.

    International Payment

    All international orders must be prepaid in U.S. dollars. You can prepay by using a credit card (Visa or MasterCard), by international money order or with a check drawn in U.S. funds, or by wire/bank transfer.

    International Wires

    All wires must be in U.S. dollars. All wires are subject to a $30 wire fee. If you intend to wire payment, please email info@jmteno.us and we will send you wiring instructions.

    Customers outside North America have three shipping options as outlined below. A rush fee of $25 will apply to orders needed less than 4 weeks from receipt of order.

    Standard Service via U.S. Post (approximately 2-4 weeks delivery)
    . All Others: $35 first tape/DVD, each additional tape/DVD add $5

    Express via DHL (approximately 1 week delivery)
    . Europe: $55 first tape/DVD, each additional tape/DVD add $5
    . Asia, Africa, Australia, Latin America, Middle East and New Zealand: $65 first tape/DVD, each additional tape/DVD add $5

    Collect Shipping (Customer Account)
    Customers are welcome to supply WMM with a courier number for one of the following for shipment: Federal Express or DHL. Please note: A handling fee of $15 still applies.

    Customer is responsible for all customs fees, taxes and duties.


    Refunds and Exchanges

    Returns for a full refund are accepted within 30 days of purchase. If a DVD arrives damaged, we will replace it at no cost. If you receive a DVD that was damaged during shipment, please save the original invoice and packaging and contact our shipping company, Transit Media at (845) 774-7335 as soon as possible.


    Public Exhibition

    Prices for public exhibition in theatres, museums, and cultural institutions are based on format, theater or venue capacity, ticket price, and number of screenings. We cannot take rental orders through our shopping cart at this time. To request a quote for a public screening, please email our booker at info@jmteno.us with the following information: Title, number of screenings per film, admission and seating capacity. We will confirm availability within 5 days.


    Film and Broadcast Programmers

    Home Video

    Dvd's may be purchased by individuals in the U.S. for personal home viewing with family and friends only. Home video versions are for personal home use only, and programs are protected by copyright. It is strictly prohibited to screen, loan or broadcast for any group for either educational or commercial purposes.

    2. . The videotape and/or videodisc will not be altered or copied in any manner whatsoever. (The videotape and/or videodisc is protected under U.S. Copyright Code.)
    3. . The videotape and/or videodisc is for personal use only. Use of this videotape and/or videodisc in any university or other institutional settings is explicitly forbidden.
    4. . The videotape and/or videodisc will not be shown to the public, theatrically, commercially, or for profit.
    5. . The videotape and/or videodisc will not be rented, loaned for a fee, leased, or sub-leased to others.
    6. . The Customer will not negotiate any transaction concerning the videotape and/or videodisc without specific written authorization from Distributor.

    All home video orders must be paid by PayPal (online) or credit card / money order (through Transit Media, contact information listed above) in advance of shipment. Order through our online shopping cart (please make sure to select Home Video under shipping options or you will be charged the institutional rate for shipping). Please note: Cash, COD, and personal checks are not accepted. In NY City and State, please add 8.625% sales tax.
